From Zero

Looking for a motivational speaker?
I was a young father, down and out, with barely a nickel to my name.
I was battling depression, trying to be an example of strength for my family, and failing.
Still, I pushed. I wrestled. I stayed in the game.
Finally, I was fortunate to ‘crack the code’ on how to become a success in today’s rapidly evolving marketplace. It wasn’t about talent or résumé or any of that nonsense…
It was about belief.
I realized quickly that the belief that kept me in an emotional mess on the couch was the very belief limiting me and keeping me away from the success I deserved.
I believed that I was only the sum total of the education and the résumé building skills I’d acquired in life. I believed that success was only measured in dollars and cents.
It wasn’t until I realized that impact is measured by an entirely different metric—one independent from the value systems imposed on me by didactic, capitalist thinking—that I was able to transcend my state as a victim into a victor.
It wasn’t until I started forgiving others and devoting myself to service that I was able to shed the weights that had encumbered me for so long. It wasn’t until I was able to embrace myself as a being with priorities aligned to purpose that I finally achieved what I’d been looking for.
Sometimes the path to success is marked by humility.
At every stage of a professional journey, the ultimate question isn’t, “Am I getting enough?’, but, “Am I offering enough?” It isn’t until a professional is able to submit to a greater contribution to humanity that real greatness is achieved.
I’m here to inspire you—to motivate you—to such an end.
Let’s talk.
